Maker is well made and makes very large pom poms. The materials are solid and smooth, nothing to catch on – no risk of splinters. The maker is easy to use and jump right in. I found I didn’t get a hand cramp using this maker – I have in the past had a little trouble with pom pom makers and hand cramps. The maker, while not connected like less expensive plastic ones, once secured doesn’t slip and stays steadily together. The design is also very cute and the pom poms are amazingly fluffy when made with acrylic or wool yarn. Cotton yarn makes scraggly pom poms – so I’d avoid cotton, personally. Also the packaging is adorable and overall it feels very high end. I really couldn’t be happier with my purchase.
